Human Judgment First
A tool can propose. A person decides, and a person remains accountable.
Research Before Automation
We understand the work before deciding which parts can be automated.
Say What We Used
People receiving the work can ask what tools helped make it and receive a direct answer. When AI materially affects the finished work, we identify that clearly.
Authorship and Consent
We do not imitate living artists or use someone’s work, likeness, voice, or private material without agreement.
Protect Attention
Automation should return time and attention to people. If it creates more to manage, obscures responsibility, or makes the relationship less human, it is not helping.
We do not use these tools simply to remove people from work that people should be doing.
Count the Cost
Computation has a material and environmental footprint. We consider whether a process is worth running, whether a simpler method would work, and whether convenience is shifting hidden harm onto someone else or the planet.
These principles are a work in progress—adapting as the tools and our understanding evolve.
